Ability Scores
Ability Scores are numbers that describe your characters physical and mental capabilities. There are six Ability Scores: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. The higher the Ability Score, the better your character will be in that particular area.
We will be using what is know as the Standard Array method to generate your ability scores. You have six numbers: 15, 14, 13, 12, 10 and 8 to assign to each Ability Score as a base value. Your chosen race will add a bonus to the base value which will give you your final score. Your Ability Scores also determine their respective Ability Score Modifiers, which will be used when you play. Record both your Ability Scores and your Ability Score Modifiers on your character sheet once finished.
